About Malden Group
We are based in South East England and service clients mainly, but not exclusively, in that area. We are specialists in the application of all Drywall systems, external facades - including our own in-house design team ,steel framing and all areas of internal finishes.
Malden Group were established in 1969 and have over 40 years experience in the Construction industry and a proven and recognised track record.
We are proud that we are ranked one of the largest operators in our sector, however, despite our size we remain a family run business and as such have a close working relationship with both our team at Malden Group and our clients, who represent some of the major UK constructors and developers.
The Malden Group plc is the holding company incorporating four Malden subsidiary companies trading within the construction sector.
The original trading company Malden Plasterers Ltd was established in 1969 by Malden Group Chairman, Dennis Russell who grew the business substantially during the 70’s and early 80’s when he was then joined by his two sons Mark and Stephen Russell, who now hold the positions of Managing and Commercial Director respectively.
To accommodate the rise in demand in the Drylining sector Malden Drylining was formed and the two companies continued to build strong reputations as, experienced professional businesses run on strong family values.
In 1998 Mark and Stephen Russell continued the expansion of Malden by establishing Malden Renders & Finishes Ltd to specialise in the external render business and to compliment the successful internal operations of Malden Drylining and Malden Plastering.
In 2006 Malden Décor was formed and operates as a specialised company providing painting and decorating services and again furthering the Malden scope of internal works.
In 2009 the Directors identified a new market demand for external works and set up Malden Facades, a business specialising in all aspects of external façade operations including steel framing, rainscreen cladding, roofing and all insulated render systems.
The various different Malden businesses historically traded independently however in 2011 a restructuring took place to create the Malden Group as a holding company incorporating all the “Malden” companies, Malden Drywall Ltd, Malden Facades Ltd, Malden Renders & Finishes Ltd and Malden Décor Ltd.
The Malden Group of Companies are now able to offer a complete package of works from roofing and all external cladding and facades right through to the paint on the internal walls!
The Russell family is rightly proud of “Malden’s” reputation within the construction sector and want to ensure their ethos of offering a professional and reliable business coupled with their family values.
